Question Rear "Swing Weight" Bushing replacement

I know this topic has been covered many times about the swing weights located at the rear of the frame on either side of the spare tire on the LR3, but this isn't a "what are these for?" question. The other day I noticed a loud erratic banging noise in the rear of my LR3 when either hitting big bumps or travelling at speeds over 100 km/hr (60 mph). It wasn't rhythmic with tire rotation but very erratic and inconsistent. I did some digging underneath and noticed my left swing weight swung more freely than my right weight and thought maybe it was contacting my rear bumper when driving. Tried tightening it....no luck. Ended up stuffing some rags between the weight and the bumper, took it for a test drive and the clunking was gone so my suspicion of hitting the bumper was confirmed.

There are two rubber bushings that the weights rotate on that are obviously worn out and I now need to replace them. I have spent a fair bit of time online and can't find anything. Anyone know where I can get a hold of set of these bushings and/or what the OEM part number is at the very least? As a last resort, has anyone ever removed these swing weights all together and if so, did it effect the ride quality at all?

Many thanks

I removed my weights (all 75lbs) and haven’t had any issues both when driving alone or fully passengered up. Just one note, I have my LR3 converted to springs (no more EAS)..

Thanks. Good to know as a last resort. How did you get the weights out? It doesn't look like there is enough room between the frame and the body to get them out. Did you cut them?

It was too long ago to remember but I believe I simply unbolted them.
