Default Rear wiper

G’day to you all. I have a problem with my rear wiper not working. The code reader stated relay defective. Ok where is it? Tried the 2 in the engine bay and if I pull either one out the front wipers stop working. Fuse18 is ok. Searching through the threads there was mentioned a relay at the rear but if there is where? Tried the compartment where the the tow bar connection’s are but not there. Wiper tested ok but no power. I am electrician so a bit embarrassing to take it to an auto Lecky to change a relay.

My manual shows it in the central junction box...that's behind the facia on the passenger side of the bulkhead.. the picture shows it on the left side (think the electronic copy of the manual is British, so that would be the passenger side. It would be item number 5

Have you tried the fuse box "behind" the glove box? Should be fuse #48

yes tried that but all ok. Now I have another problem and that is I have lost my key and I don’t have a spare! Not sure what I am going to do now. Any suggestions? I suppose it’s a trip to the dealer. I have a spare uncut one that is not programmed and have never got around to getting it cut. Wish I had. It’s in the house somewhere unless the dog ate it.

Ok found the keys in the garden of all places. Off to the locksmiths tomorrow and get the spare set operational. I will check the fuse and relay tomorrow.

Thanks Laurie for the diagram. Checked f48 this morning not there! Checked for the relays not there! Obviously the previous owner decided they were surplus to needs and used them elsewhere. I have the part numbers from one of the other relays fitted so able to source that but when looking at the base it is wired for a 5 pin relay so does anyone have the part number for a 5 pin relay?
