Has anyone here had remote start installed in their LR3? I have always had it installed in my vehicles (once you have it it's difficult to live without) and want to do the same with the LR3. The problem is that you must sacrifice a key with any aftermarket remote start because the keys have chips in them that the module uses to start the car. The problem with the LR3 key is that it does not fit in the module because of it's size. My installer suggested getting a 'valet' key (a key with no remote fob) but the dealer says they don't offer any such key. Anyone have any experiencewith this?

my local specialist is saying he can get this to work on the Land Rover button with sacrificing one key as well at first then he said he could prob do it without... any more info on this subject? did you ever have this installed?

 

I havent had it done yet.. I was going to attempt to do it myself.. But after learning about all the relays that vehicle needs im second guessing if Ill be able to do it..
