But each compressor requires a software change in the truck. Meaning when the hardware is changed, one must change the software.

1 - With the original issues, was that truck equip with an AMK originally and worked fine until it did not?

2 - Did you ever verify the software was set for AMK?

3 - When switching to the Hitachi, did you change software?

If you never made the software change to the Hitachi and its working, I have to think that is what the software was always set to do the AMK would never work right, it was "out of spec" as far and the computer was concerned.
it did have the amk when I bought the rover. Previous owner said, bought new amk 6 months ago from a dealer for a crazy price. Was updated to amk software and i bought a gap tool and verified. Even switch to Hitachi and back to amk to make sure it would over write if there was a glitch. Plugged in the junk yard Hitachi and reflashed to Hitachi and started the rover. Ran full cycle and got to full gallery pressure 2x faster then I ever got any of the Amk's ( if and when they would choose to work)The amk motors seem fine. The air dryers are complete trash. At least the 3 I tried. One 6 month old and 2 brand new...

Also, even tried to run amk off Hitachi software to see if it would make a difference... It did not.

When you swapped to the Hitachi, you would have had to remove some extra pipe(s). Were any damaged? There is one for sure that would get yanked with the swap, ran over to the outside of the AMK from above it. I can only think that in some way the AMK conversion was done wrong???

Thomas - do you have sensor extension rods installed. If so, it will not raise form bump stops. You have to jack up the front and rear a bit to get the sensors back into readable range. If not, then we need codes.

Default Suspension

So I jacked it up and it worked we had to toy with the computer a bit but still getting a red suspension fult says it’s having connectivity issues with the ecu for the air system so I think it’s time for a new one of those but also threw a ride night sensore code but ima home it leveled its self out even with a red light and seems to be working I’m super confused

A red indicator in an apparent working system could be the suspension stuck in build mode or stuck in tight tolerance mode.
