Replacement Sunroof Seal

Replacement Sunroof Seal
It only rains once a year in California so not a huge issue :-)
Has anyone been down the road of replacing the seal (attached to the glass) on the 2009 LR3 Sunroof? Looks like this is all one piece to the glass per the shop manual.
The seal has failed in the rear. I can slide a piece of paper pretty easily in and out. When it rains a ton or car wash hose on the top of the rig the water ingress overwhelms the cleared drain tubes and spills over the sunroof channel and tracks along the headline to the 'C' pillar and to the floor.
As an aside did find that the rear drain once I pulled the headliner down a bit was loose. Snugged it up and zip tied to avoid it dislodging again.
Electrical tape is doing the trick now but has anyone used a generic u shaped seal to solve the problem?
