Replacing driver door handle (outer)
im having trouble snapping the handle into the part where the lock is. I can get the handle to slide into place and what I think is the plastic clip locking into place ... maybe I am not actually locking the clip enough or idk.. but I can’t get the other part of the handle to slide on where the key lock is. Because of the metal clip from there they key lock is.. sorry I’m a young girl and I’m not experienced with much car matenience

I’m not sure, but I think you need to remove the lock cylinder, place handle, and then replace lock.
