Where did you get a key fob from ? Amazon ? Can you provide seller or PN ?
I will have to perform the same operation as one of my shells developed a hole on the unlock button. Deterioration of the material I guess...

 

Got the shell from Amazon.Battery from Digikey.Today I added a tool box I picked up from Home Depot.I developed a habit from my Disco 1 carrying all my tool necessary for repairs.
perfect fit and can be removed easily when needed.

 

Today I replaced the battery with a H7 from Autozone.Good warranty and a mile from my house.Never realized Johnson Controls made so many batteries.

 

Today My front rotors were delivered so I should finish the brakes this weekend.
I did install my first add on.A cheap ladder I picked up off of fleabay.Well it works but had to be adjusted and bent here and there.I just could not see paying that much for a G4.

 

Nice man. Good to have you back. I've never driven or even sat in an LR3. I'd like to. Any plans to off road ? Or are you gonna have a pavement princess?

 

What kind of rack did you decide on?

 

Good to be back.I do plan for off-roading but trying to cover all my bases first.My first job I thought would be coil overs but damn those air shocks make a nice ride.The rack is a Yakima Mega Warrior I picked up from AB.

 

I've had the good fortune of getting to off road in a LR3 with air suspension. They are very very capable. For a lift check out Lucky8 they have a very nice set up with the Proud Rhino line for the LR3 good price as well.

I just wouldn't go quite as large on the tires as Lucky8 did, under really heavy articulation they would self clearance the plastics a bit.
