retrofit heater windshield
Hello
I want to retrofit my windshield heater but some of the wiring in the battery JB was not present. There are not the wires :
-1- between the two mini fuses (30A) and the screen connecters left and right (passenger side for an RHD) I found the plug.
-2- the wire between the hevac unit and the relay (electric diagram).
behind the hevac unit there is an Brown wire. If I put an voltmeter into this Brown wire en the negative terminal I have 0.5V I switch on the windscreen If I swith off I have 0V. Could you confirm me it is the good Brown wire.
Some one have a detail junction behind the heavac unit there is not the wire
Could you tell me too where is the connect to the Battery Junction box. The central Junction box there too many wires I'm lost.
Thanks before
I hope that my english you will not be sick

I think what you are saying is that, you've had a replacement windscreen fitted, the new one is heated and your garage found the cables and connector by the A-pillars so connected them and you want to know what you need to make it work.
In some cases the 2x 30Amp Fuses have already been fitted by LR but it's worth checking in the Fusebox by the battery, the relay should also already by inplace. All you normally need is a HVAC controller which has the Heated Windscreen switch on it, you'll normally find the cable and connector for the windscreen is taped back somewhere behind the existing HVAC so once you have the new one, just swap them out, plug it in and it should all work.
It might also be necessary to switch it on via software programming, ask your independent shop or dealer.
This is stated in the attached PDF from someone else who did it.

thanks I actived the heavac unit by a dealer
I put on the relay and the fuses all is ok
But I'm looking Under the battery junction box and I saw there missing 3 wires
-the power wiring between the fuse and the plug
- the control wiring (Brown wire ) Under the relay
and It's why I'm looking for a detail junction of heavac junction
Thanks all to help me
