Hello all,

This is my first post so I apologize in advance if I'm not doing something right...I'm trying to figure out where I can buy new headphones for this system because the ones my used LR3 came with don't work any longer. I am also wondering if anyone knows if you can plug in regular headphones to the dvd player somehow, and if so where and how. Any information anyone can provide about this system would be much appreciated. Thank you!

 

I suggest you do a Google or eBay search using Rosen DVD or some like that as search words.

Below are a couple of many that I came up with. I have the factory Rosen DVD hanging from the ceiling of my 3 and all the headset stuff as well so I have not had to search for parts.

Also in the top of the two rear door cards and for seats six and seven, there are headphone jacks and volume controls etc, at least in my HSE with the 14 speaker Harmon Kardon radio system. I think the overhead DVD soundtrack can be directed to these passenger controls - never tried it however, but I think it is selected thru the overhead DVD settings rather than the front radio buttons.

 

google rosen to see what comes up. Don't expect the dealer to have anything. Trust me we ended up putting in an aftermarket set up for a client cause you couldnt get parts anymore. This was authorized by land rover certified itself. Ended up being cheaper by a couple hundred bucks.
