Safety Tip - Working Under Rover with Air Suspension
Hi All,
Just a safety tip, if working under the vehicle, have a jack stand for safety. Supposedly the suspension will lock if a door is open but my early build 2005 does not. With two doors, hood, and hatch open...mine still auto adjusts. (Though will not accept a height change request with doors open).
I was changing lift rods, doors open, and sure enough, car came lowering down. Thankfully had stands underneath with me!
Pulling fuse 26 does seem to do the trick though.
SAFETY FIRST everyone!

This has been discussed before but any car should be adequately supported if you are under it. The door open function almost never works, and should never be trusted with regards to life safety.
Main fuse F26 is still the one to disable by hand, either pulling or using a switch. See: https://expeditionportal.com/forum/t....154622/page-4, essentially the same as Bbyer's old solution. Cabin fuse F35P is a subsidiary in that EAS system but F26 is main power.
