I don't know that those are different either. 2005s were offered with both of those features.
The 2009 has painted wheel arches instead of molded and anecdotally we have heard that LR started toying with the software in 2009. I don't know of any real difference between 2007 and 2008 interiors except that the 2008 MY introduced the "Premium Leather" package but it was optional.

2008 is largely considered the best year for pre-owned shoppers because it's the latest MY that doesn't feature the aforementioned '09 changes.

True but there was some seating changes where the middle seat tilted forward like the 2 outers, the rest is minor cosmetic changes.

...but in 'merica my 2005 has a 2nd row with three seats that all tumble and fold the same.

And later models don't, my 07 build MY08 has a fixed middle seat, it pushes down flat but doesn't tilt forward like the outer 2 do.

That's what it was called when I ordered my 2005. Maybe that was true all through the LR3's existence.

loanrangie - do you have third row? I though the fixed center seat was when there was no third row.

I have a 2005 with no third row and all three second row seats fold flat and tumble.

I have a 2006 with third row and the second row seats function the same.
