Jeez. One thing after another

Not even problematic just annoying.

Played in some mud. Did an undercarriage wash thinking it would be good to get the goo off. Now i have an incredible suspention squeak that i cant get rid of.

I am replacing rear sway bushes soon anyway and hope thats the bushing that got water between rubber and metal. But i also thought enough friction would dry any moisture that penetrated.

Ive alread pulled tires off and silicone sprayed every moving part i could reach, on both sides of the rear end. A arms. Sway connectors. Didnt do anything with a boot on it yet. I even sprayed fixed bushings and cups.

Ive layed under the truck and had someone bounce it. I need to do it with a directional listening device to pinpoint though. 99% sure its sway bush. Crossing fingers. .

Its just ridiculous how prone this truck is to faults.

Uhhh...have you gotten a "fault" or just a squeak; I'm confused by your "prone to faults" comment.

I had a similar thing a few years back...darn thing sounded like an old rocking chair when I'd go over speed bumps. It did eventually go away....I can't remember how or why. Seemed like attempting to lubricate the bushings made matters worse.

LOL.. probably the bush. I thought I did a good job cleaning the mud out after my last outing. I drove back on pavement, including fording through 3' of water for a distance. Rain all the way, several thunderstorms, wind and 5 hours of that. Went underneath with the hose a week later, washed out quite a bit. Fast forward 2 weeks, I took it in to the shop for a bunch of stuff, and there was dried mud everywhere... poor guys, I told them to wear safety glasses... Anyway... it gets in there good.. and comes out slow.. No faults or squeaks though.

There is some rattle somewhere in the boot, I can't tell if it's my spare tire winch giving way, or something rattling around due to all the tinkering I have done.
