Default SRS Deployment Control 1 Resistance Problem

Recent purchase, just fixing and working through the codes - got an SRS light on.

Code reads B00002 - Driver's frontal stage 2- deployment control. Comes back on when cleared.

With engine running, datastream shows me exactly where the problem is but I don't know where to check physically. Which connector, where?

Deployment Control 1 Resistance - 10.24 ohm
Deployment Control 2 Resistance - 2.32 ohm (within spec)
Deployment Control 3 Resistance - 2.32 ohm (within spec)

So I know that Control 2 and 3 are fine, and the problem is with Control 1 - but where do I check that?

Are Control 1, 2, and 3 in different locations?

Thanks - yes, makes sense. I've been looking at the replacement how tos and it seems pretty straightforward. I'll give it a shot.

Default Deployment Control resistance

Does anyone know which deployment controls correlate to corresponding #'s. Having a resistance issue with control 2 but have no clue where that is located.

For control 1, it was in the clock spring, as was correctly advised.

Replaced that, and the SRS light went off.

I'm going to guess also controls 2 and 3 are part of the clock spring. It was a cheap and easy replacement, so worth the guess.

My code thrown was B0010 passengers side stage 1. And as we know there is a lot going on with that passengers seat.

I am getting the exact same code. B0010-1b Passenger's Frontal Stage 1 - Deployment Control 2 Resistance High. Were you able to resolve it and if so what was the fix?

Hey Ray,
I was unable to find the issue and gave up looking so now I just deal with the intermittent airbag light. She comes and goes.
