Default Strut Upgrade

Our LR3 is very wobbly so I'm going to replace the struts. Thoughts on the upgraded struts versus the OE? Looks like for the price of the upgraded struts I could be getting OE struts and air bags. Our air bags are fine but old. Looking to improve the ride as much as possible. Cheers.

So would this replace the strut within the airshock assembly? Or replace the entire assembly? The reference to the "ACE System" is a little worrisome since the LR3 never had that. I think that's a Disco 2 thing.

Yes it replaces the internal shock only, a strut rebuild kit is needed which has new o-rings and such. ACE is mentioned because of the sport, which had it, and use the same shocks.

That's good to know, thank you. Is there performance data that suggests an improvement over OEM struts?

If your airbags are original i don't think just changing the shock absorber is a good move, at that price its not much cheaper than a full strut.
