Default Sunroof not working 2007 LR3

My sunroof stopped working. Fuse is good checked number 20 in glove box. it doesn't make any noise or anything when the switch is pushed. Worked fine yesterday. Could it be the switch itself? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Battery disconnected or problem, making roof need to be re-calibrated? Attched are sections of shop manual.

....did you do the whole, 20-second hold down of the switch? The standard re-calibration..

Good. But - what caused it to drop calibration? Symptom of weak battery or dirty terminals issue? Time for new battery? From the shop manual:

Battery Disconnection

If the battery has been disconnected, the one touch and anti-trap function will become inoperative. Pressing the lower part of the sunroof switch for 20 seconds will start the sunroof's calibration routine. The sunroof will complete a full cycle in order to re-learn the parameters required for one-touch open and close and the anti-trap function. The sunroof will still have manual movement available until the sunroof is re-calibrated.

I bypassed the whole Sunroof system and wired it up through a separate relay and switch

works great now

One of the only LR "repair" procedures I think has worked almost every single time it was suggested. Nice

Not for me. Checked the fuse. It's good. Reset didn't work. Any suggestions?

Try holding it for as long as a minute. Sometimes people report that it is a “very” long 20 seconds. If that doesn’t work, then you’ll want to start looking at wiring —determining if the switch is bad, motor is bad, there’s no power at the switch (or motor), etc. So, that long 20 seconds is time well spent!
