Suspension Fault - Part 2.. Height Sensor Replacement
"When offroad, and suspension is articulating, I hear air sounds "chhh, chhhh, chhh" as wheels go up and down."
I can't say that I have ever heard this....there is only one time I've ever had symptoms like this: I had a bad air spring and it was allowing the upper control arm to make contact with it...which also bent my sensor bracket. Is your "chhh chhhh" sound mechanical (like metal hitting metal) or pneumatic sounding?
Anyway when I got the air shock replaced, the EAS could not be calibrated. It had wheels in all kinds of wonky positions. It was so far out of range that the fancy T4 device that the dealership had could not get it to calibrate. GAP helped me through an iterative process whereby we got it "close" in the first pass, so it wouldn't barf....then got it spot-on after that, with the IIDTool. They are experts. They can help you!!! Send them your precise calibration values, live values, etc....
Then...worth noting here....they predicated that my bracket was bent. I scoffed at that since it eventually took a calibration. About a year later, maybe two....as my compressor was getting weaker, I started getting odd behavior from the EAS. The calibration wouldn't "stick" and then after that my compressor went ****. I got the compressor replaced with the AMK. Then I got another cross-articulation fault. It was eventually determined that sure enough, my bent sensor bracket had led to a "suspect calibration" and my Tech re-shaped the bracket by comparing it to another LR3 and the calibration took the first time. No issues since then. Actually I take that back. I got some of those "algorithm based failures" you have shown above, until about a year ago....I needed a software update. Did that. The thing has been flawless since, and that includes several off-roading trips.
Hope some of this helps.

Replaced The sensor - part number was right - and same issue. The Vehicle raises, I drive a few miles - the suspension fault light goes on. On the Nav screen, the right rear wheel does seem to go all over the place. Then after a few more miles, the wheel (via the nav screen) falls off, and the vehicle lowers.
Suggestions on what is next? perhaps the height sensor has nothing to do with why the suspension fault is coming on??
