Default suspension faults

05 LR3, 116,000 miles
hey all, have had an issue with suspension faults daily for a while now.

most common is while driving (fault shows up 5-15 min) but ride height seems to stay the same.

Less common issues are apon starting vehicle, compressor will turn on then shut off after a few seconds leading to suspension fault.

Also Turning key to “on” position, the light that indicates height setting does not illuminate but will illuminate after cycling the key.

I have also noticed after being parked ride Height sometimes lowers

any help or options are much appreciated!

Most likely it’s your compressor based on symptoms, but to be sure you need a code reader

Default Compressor Over temp or over current limit

I agree with Abran.

If the compressor quits in less than a minute, it is usually because it gets too hot or over draws on current causing it to shut down. the rest of your problems appear to be directly related to no air in the system.

May be as simple as cleaning the dryer to let the compressor breath or as complicated as replacing the compressor and other air distribution parts.

Hope it turns out OK

Jeff
