I have all of the tools I need. I will get the ID tool. Every Land Rover owner should have one. I have customized mine and plan on keeping it. I love the thing and it handles well in rough terrain. Great family car when we go on trips.
Great pic....cute lil' family you've got and those tires are SICK! (I have the same ones, Discoverer STTs; they look different with the sand on the lugs)
For sure get the IIDTool and you'll be glad you did.
Thanks. It’s awesome on the beach. The tires look really good, but a little loud “ Discoverer STTP Pro”. I was thinking about going with some aggressive all strains. Not sure yet though.
Whoever it was that suggested I lift the vehicle, so the vehicle reads a height within its range was a life saver.
If you have the extended height rods and your vehicle has the solid red light (suspension fault do not exceed 30mph) with the compressor not kicking on try lifting your vehicle with a floor jack from both ends. Not off the ground, but lifting the vehicle enough to allow sensors to read a normal range.
when I started it the fault didn’t even appear and it said “vehicle raising slowly” until it it was to the “normal height range”. It’s working perfectly again!!
This forum and the guy ^^^^ who mentioned this method was a life save.
Good call, Dakota! I do remember episodes like this before where jacking was required. Note that a calibration is still likely required. I would not sleep on this...
