Default Theory on 32' M/T's

If I just run them to offroad and don't care about a little rub, can't I just put the tires on and run the truck in extended mode for the day or two rather than putting on johnsonrods or other similar lift?

I run the 32 inch Goodyear MTR and have to say that I would not do it without the rod lift. There is no way to run at an extended mode height without the rod lift. Johnson Rods does have a winter sale for $99 so now is a good time to get ready for summer. If you don't want a lift then I suggest you get a tire size that will perform without the lift such as a 265-60-18. I have a complete tire size chart you can look at that can help you decide what needs a lift and what doesn't.

Thanks. I ordered a set through Justin at Lucky8 late last week along with a set of 18X8 steel wheels. Now just trying to find an M/T. As a side note the Dunlop Rover M/T's you have listed aren't made anymore. Debating with myself over the BFGoodrich TA KO and the Kelly Safari TSR. Tire guy here in town swears you can't beat the TA KO for the price. Like the MTR's though. Sweet.

I have the rod mod and wanted to go kevlar mtr but ended up trying nitto trail grapplers. they were VERY agressive but did not fit (285/65/18) so i downsized to the tera grapplers and the offroad performance is amazing and driving almost unnoticably different on the road. Couldnt be happier
