Default Thump after braking

Hi..When rolling a little and I stop solidly,.. a little thump is heard just after I brake.
Whats up usually?
A few years ago we had a more severe example of this thumping and it was control arms which were changed and it was solved..(I'm not sure if it was upper or lower set.)
If it's control arms...can only bushings be changed this time ?
Can it be all the bushings?
Thanks

Sounds like the lower control arm bushings to me. You can get just the bushings fixed but it's generally more straight forward to just replace the LCAs.

Start the vehicle, put in drive, let off brake, start to roll, tap the brake. If you hear the noise... lower control arms.

Thanks so much.
I went to Mechanic who did front Rotors & Brake 10 days ago ..and he Lubricated the Bushings..I think it may not be happening anymore.
But will do the test recommended tomorrow,
Many thanks.

I'd love to know how this is accomplished. I have never seen lube points on these

there is a TSB for it. I believe it’s found next to the TSB outlining the procedure for changing out the blinker signal fluid.

He Lubricated something down there but it's made no difference. There is a thump after braking hard.
How likely is it lower control arms..90%?
This happened in the past but more severely and it was lower control arms.
Also ..what are effects of upper control arms going..thanks.
