Love the look, too...just not the 2-ply sidewall.

Same, I find that disappointing. Also really can't find any wear data on tread life for them. Think I'm just going to say screw it and get the trail blades.

Hahahaha....I love the banter but it's killing any attempt at selling off my MT/Rs one at a time as spares because that offer is now on Page 2! Trail Blades? There are better options I think, in that size.

Cooper STT PRO
Yokohama Geolander G003
General Grabber X3
Toyo Open Country MT
Goodyear Duratracs

put up a for sale thread lol.

A lot of the options don't have the tread life to be viable for me.

Plus when you consider the price difference I can get 2 full sets of the Trail Blades for the cost of one set of the MTP's

Yep...put up a post in the Classified section. I think my problem will be lack of local eyeballs on it. I don't want to ship, so it's Oregon or Washington only.

I understand your trades on the tires. Tread life being important makes it a different calculus.

It really does and its a downer. All the tires I want would likely be toast in a year or so. Was drooling over Falken M/T01 today when I stopped by the Auto Skills center on post.

Sweet! Please post some pics.

I'm converging on the Coopers after all that deliberation.

Definitely will. I can't blame you the Coopers are a good looking tire.

I ended up going with the 285/65R18 so 32.6ish" I was really debating on going a lot bigger with the 275/70 or 33.4". I talked out the pro/cons though with Erik at Lucky8 before I ordered the tires from them.

Is that all that is, really? 32.6....may be doable for me too. Hmmm...
