Hey guys.

I bought 2 quarts of transfer box oil to switch out the current stuff. In the shipping, one of the quarts got loose and about 1/4 of the container leaked.

question: does the Transfer box need a full 2 quarts or can I squeak by with a quart and 3/4?

 

You should be fine. I just did mine again and it was 1.5 quarts. Since I had half from before, when I bought the two new bottles are barely used any out of one. And only used any at all cause of waste/overfilling.

 

Transfer case takes 1.5L
