Transfer case motor removal

Default Transfer case motor removal
Anyone know if there's a way to get at the top bolt of the transfer case motor without dropping or tilting the case?

I usually remove the t case support and support with worm drive jack stand, lower slightly and have at it. I believe a ratcheting 8mm box wrench with take off the reverse torx.
