You can always take a shot at it yourself. I think the hard part is getting the darn thing out of the truck, which you've already done. There are some guides around the internet on how to crack the transfer case and pull the internal components to get to the bearings and seals. Advancedfactors.co.uk sells rebuild parts for a good price. Don't know of anybody over here in the states to source from though.

Just out of curiosity, could you tell whether the sound was coming from one of the bearings or from the internal components?
