Default Transmission issues

i have an 05 , and the issue I am having is the tranny shifts rough a little, drives great in town, but when you get up to highway speeds she will not shift out of last gear. When I bought his vehicle guy said it was shifting hard, but when we checked for fluid there was hardly any in it. So the question is do i need to just chznge the valve body because thats what i read and foufn out or overhaul the tranny only and if so what websites to find one . thank you inadvance

First step would be to check the fluid level, then i would change the fluid and filter. Depending on the mileage you could do a valve body rebuild like i did which would be better than just swapping the valve body for an unknown one.
A few posts on here so worth doing a search.

Make sure to follow the right procedure for fluid level check. Look it up, but basically you have to bring the fluid to a certain temperature range, then add until it's coming out of the fill hole. Atlantic British has a decent video on it.
