Default Transmission Level Pivot Arm adjustment

Good morning Team,
I was wondering if anyone can confirm the detail at the end of the Atlantic British video about pulling Level arm, once installed, forward. I can't believe my cable or level needs adjustment, again, after only two years after the replacement of level pivot arm kit. During previous replacements, I never pulled on reinstalled level forward only marked position of old parts(bushing, pivot arm) on the existing transmission cable and installed new,lubricated bush and other parts in kit . Supposedly that forward position on the level is true Park location. According to write up on the well known British forum suggests that is crucial to undo top bolt first, otherwise one risks stripping of tranny internals, but that statement would suggests, no pulling anything forward with exception of pulling cable forward and then retaining level bolt on it. Please advise.Here is the video:
