Hello all,
Got a broken (air suspension broken) 07 lr3 for a steal. Trying to rebuild the air compressor and I broke the exhaust valve, I should've used pb blaster.


Any saving this, or time for a new compressor?

Compressor looks like it came from a shipwreck!

Not sure it's salvageable, but who knows.

 

I feel your pain. I tried to drive out the motor shaft/bearing from my AMK compressor and broke the piston. Should have bought a press a long time ago! Found a Chinese company on Alibaba that sells parts. You might try a search there. The quality is always suspect, but I know Land Rover doesn't really manufacture anything, so likely it comes from the same production line.
