At this point the new brake light switch has been molested..what position should the little clicking things on sides be in to reinstall?
Thanks

and more useful questions for my thousandth post.
Did Hard Reset as suggested..but no change.
+Voltage running is 14V..when not running 13.6V.
When Brake pedal is depressed all is normal, car obeying commands( Up..down.)..but once brake is retracted..car drops.
What can it be.

If you saw corrosion on the terminals than that should be your first thing your looking at. I don't think that the work they did is causing your issue.... What kind of shop did you take it too?

At a certain point however you need to bite the bullet and take it to a shop or independent land rover shop. We can only give you so much guidance over the internet.

I will say from my personal experience with the same symptoms it was corrosion from water getting in.

Anyone spill coffee or other liquids in the shift lever area? This will also throw wacky codes if it drips down to the mechanism.

No sign of residue from a drink unless it was water dropped by mechanic.
