Lightbulb Washer fluid tank relocation with FORD Expedition parts

Did a thing to couple weeks ago relocating the washer fluid tank somewhere that is more accessible/serviceable, ie if washer fluid pump fails, which is quite common occurrence for me and also finally original tank decided to let go by developing a large crack along the molding seams which is unfortunate, also for some reason lucky 8 relocating bracket was a tad steep and adding a another used/new washer tank and pump and look around $200+ to fix the issue that will likely happen again. Solution, install a ford 2000-2006 Ford Expedition tank and washer pump, while giving it an OEM look, and total cost $20 in parts screws and brackets!

The bottle fits almost like OEM its not rubbing touch anything critical even when filled.

I removed the original brake booster pump and use the the same screws to bolt on the mending bracket for the washer fluid tank, the bracket consist of 1 L bracket and 1 Flat L bracket, and the second support (on right) i used a bolt with double washers, conveniently there a hole in the thru sheet metal so no drilling is needed just have to pull down the driver side wheel arch liner to slip the bolt thru the hole and place washer both top and bottom side, i coated bolt that is in the wheel arch liner with high temp enamel paint.

I rewire to the original land rover to Ford explorer wire harness so I can use the ford's washer fluid pump, which ironically it cost 1/4-1/2 the price and is completely identical even down to the manufacturing company.

The electric brake booster pump is temporally zip tied to the frame of the car and I had to modify from hard plastic line a rubber hose, the pump only comes on when start up (notable buzzing noise), otherwise it just stays off. I'm still thinking of a solution to remount, might have to be completely relocated elsewhere.

Was it worth it? Well to me it is as I have plans to install 1-2 gallon air tank for my onboard air pump in the old location of the windshield reservoir, also I like the idea of ease of access to the washer pump (if it fails), filling up is easier as its has a 2 inch opening to fill, and has a mesh filter before the pump in the tank.
