Default water leaking from roof drains inside truck

I have a 2005 LR3 and after it rains and I start driving, water drips inside from various points inside cab. The shop told me that the roof drains were clogged or something. Does anyone know the deal on this? I was told that in order to fix the problem, I would have to remove interior roof panel to do so. Pointers anyone?

there are fixes for this do a search on a few other LR forums. This forum in my opinion has the least amount of info, alot was lost when they changed everything around. This has been around for a long time.

You need to get up on top, with roof open, and take an air compressor to flow out the drains, which are at the 4 corners. Takes a narrow tube to reach the holes. Also, there are one way valves at the ends of the tubes, one inside the air intake on the side of the truck and one inside the wheel well on the left side. You can cut off the small one way valve, that gets plugged with dust on the right side, You need to take the wheel well apart to get to the left one. It was a Service TId year ago when it first came up. You can also use a piece of wire to unplug them.

Thanks. That was a big help. Is that a common thing for these things to clog up?

actually its the fronts that get clogged up the most. we just pull off the intake vent cover and the rubber piece behind it along with the sponge and cut the end off the valve. on the driver side just pull off lower trim panel under the dash take the hose out of the fire wall and take the end off and cut it off. Then put some water inside in the drain tube to let it soften up the dirt and add water if you dont have a compressor.
