I am GETTING READY TO GET THE WIFE A used m3 convertible. So I had a couple ?s on if you can put in an aftermarket radio and such since we cant do it to the LR3
and wow what a rude and ignorant bunch.

Truth is it's due to BMW populairty +demographics.There are a lot of true enthusiasts with great knowledge willing to share and help, but they are in minority and often outspoken. I had a problem with my former 325 and copule ofguys really helped me, but we've ended in an e-mail exchange rather than posting on forum cause it was impossible to keep focus and the topic got buried in "I too installedangel eyes - how awesome is that!" and "I races a ... today" types of messages.

 

I found that once you get past a few hundred of the arrogant and get to the real BMW enthusiasts then there is a lot of people willing to help. I have had several BMW's and have always found that ther eare a few people that try to ruin it for everyone but for the majority they are helpful.
