Default What components are VIN specific?

I know that the ECU, BECM, Trans computer are all coded to a specific VIN, what else?

I understand if one of these needs to be replaced that a new virgin/non coded unit needs to be installed and synced with an Autologic or equivalent.

So, If I want to swap a used ECU into my vehicle, what else would have to be swapped?

Thanks in advance

I know this is kind of an old thread but I am having issues with my speedometer and odometer not working. I was going to use my NT650 Elite to look as the SLABS unit, but when I hook it up and says it can't find the VIN and the when I manually enter it says "VIN invalid". The weird thing is when I do the auto vin on the home screen it does show the correct VIN but when I do the ABS module it says not valid.

Did anyone have any luck with their Foxwell???

Thanks
