What did you do to your LR3 today?

Im not sure of your precise issue but I have a problem with my driver door not locking. But if I lock it two or three times its fine and locked. Like its weak, so it needs a little more oomph to get it locked. If you dont have to to repair it you can at least try that. Might save you the hassle for now.
Here is the video I used that was the fix for my LR3. I was able to do the repair with the actuator in the door cavity, I just unbolted it from the door shell.

Noobie
Bought my first LR3 last weekend (2006 HSE with HD package w/ 121k miles). Today I got mad today when I took my LR3 to grab the mail, forgot I had taken out the air compressor fuse (in order to check for a leak as it sat in the driveway for 2 days), and was upset when the suspension system wasnt working. It was a short and bumpy ride to the mailbox without any air in the shocks. Turns out each shock leaks as the whole car lost about 3 inches on each corner as it sat in offroad mode for 2 days. Was hoping the fuse removal would not allow the car the self level itself and point out that it was just one bad corner. I think I'll be working on 4 this winter

Rewired the running lights and turn signals to have the dim filament inside the 3457 turn signal bulb on with the running lights. I also replaced the 2825 bulb with a 194 Amber bulb, and added amber filters to the fog light lenses. I really like the look of the amber light, and it seems to be more visible in adverse conditions.

5A Fuse #3 in the engine bay. Still doing research in my free time and havnt yet stumbled on the fact there are multiple EAS fuses that could help diagnose. Thanks for pointing me in a new direction. Love the car even though the system is leaking. Cant wait to fix it up and get out there into the mtns of colorado (riding just my dirt bike out there just doesnt cut it for me).

I finally got around to having new snow tires installed, gave the Canadian Tire Motomaster Winter Edge 235/65R18 a try on the advice of a friend. There must have been something wrong with the Hankooks that were removed, because these much less expensive tires ride much better... we'll see about that by April, when it's time to get new all seasons and some 5/120 18" wheels...
