Default Tyre

Brought my tyre in to be replaced after suffering a cracked sidewall after last weekends off-roading. Happy that I do carry a full size spare.

Just picked up an '05 LR3 for a deal... it's my first Land Rover so wish me luck! It's running pretty rough so I'll need to invest in some diagnostics tools, but first thing I did was to replace the hood lift struts, now the hood will stay open while I spend countless hours poking around the engine bay

Weekend just gone was a long weekend due to ANZAC day, now that my trans is playing nice i hooked up the van and spent 4 excellent days in the bush with the family.
Recently fitted out the van for full off-grid camping with 2 x 190w solar panels , 2 x 100AH AGM batteries and a 2000w inverter which made camping a lot nicer with a few useful 240V items like toaster and kettle.

I just did my cabin filter too, after realizing it was 30k miles since the last one! Oops!

Any tips on an Easy way to get the full size spare out? Only had mine a yr, the towbar hitch was seized and the full size spare was nooo fun to get out! Researched and got a new towbar.

@Rufflyer - I have yet to be at MOORE. But I know it well, one of my friends owns Northology and they helped run camp this year. I will be going to KOAR though, which is an outdoor expo way up in Michigan this fall.

Get under and yank it down, if its a standard size it will just lower itself under its own weight.
I have 265/65/18's and the spare is wedged in tight.
