What did you do to your LR3 today?
Whoa...where to begin. First, I didn't do it. My friendly independent LR gurus did. And it wasn't done today. All of it was accomplished over the last two Fridays. This is on our 2006 LR3 SE 4.4
1. Transmission flush
2. Fuel injection system flush
3. Air induction system cleaned
4. Replaced engine hood struts
5. Tossed the K&N air filter. Installed the Mann element...
Then..
6. Replaced front air shocks
7. Ball joints
8. All front control arm bushings
9. Tie rods ends
10. Alignment
11. Marriage counseling
Coming week or two new tires. And that decision has me baffled.
Not sure if I should stick with the 285 60R18 size that's on it or ???
Anyway, you asked

Had accomplished:
1. Change engine oil (first time using my modified drain plug)
2. Change T-Case fluid (121k; changed at 75k as well)
3. Change primary belt idler pulley per TSB
4. Change both serpentine belts
5. Change RF Ignition Capacitor
6. Change RF Tranny Capacitor
7. Change PCV valve
8. Install brass coolant bleeder valve
...if I'm gonna keep 'er forever I have to stay on top of this. I called it a "Spa Day" for the Rover. A $600 Spa Day (+ tax).

Thank you
Its literally as easy as just removing the airbox lid and disconnecting the lid, tubing, MAF housing from the throttle body. The PCV valve is right under that, couple of torx screws and one quick disconnect hose. Plug and play.
Thank you
