Installed Osram Xenarc Xenon Night Breaker Unlimited 4350K
One of my 35 watt Philips D2S 4300K bulbs burned out so I replaced both will something new to me, a 35 watt OSRAM Xenarc 66240XNB Xenon Night Breaker Unlimited D2S 4350K bulbs.
The OSRAM's are a bit whiter than the 4300K Philips 85122 OEM bulbs but there is no real hint of blue colour - something I most dislike on the higher K number bulbs.
The OSRAM's make the halogen high beams look a bit yellow now where as before, the Philips xenon and the halogens were about the same colour.
Overall, I would say they are perhaps an improvement on the Philips but comparing new bulbs to old bulbs is not really fair. I would purchase them again however.

I am beginning to think I'm the only one that has to work on my LR3....
So did a power steering flush on the 06 today. Then I pulled my Jerry cans and my cross bar for the Roof Top Tent to put the Baja Rack into cargo mode. Since it will be doing the job of the family truckster for Christmas Vacation.
Then for some reason I decided to clean it. So I did a full clean and detail inside. Tomorrow I will give it a wash and a wax.
Did a little organizing under the cover where the foot well would be if I had a 7 seater.

looks good
My 3 was parked all day in the garage so I guess it got a holiday.
I might add yours is way cleaner than mine.
I noticed the crack in the side of the passenger seat cushion. My passenger side is near perfect as no one much sits there, but my drivers side looked like that a few years back.
A local auto upholstery shop was able to repair it such that one doe not know it was ever repaired.
It took some time in that they had to order in a piece of fabric - vinyl I think as I guess that is what it is - so that took a month of so.
They then removed the seat from the 3 and the cover off the seat and I guess all went to the sewing machine.
All good now and not a hint of a repair.

So yesterday the 07 LR3 had the alternator fail. So it came home on a flat bed.
Picked up an alternator today along with spark plugs. Got the battery checked out and recharged it was good. So popped it back in fired the truck up and pulled it in the garage.
So tonight I went ahead and cleaned the throttle body and did all 8 plugs. Seems like they were due.
So a fresh set with a splash of anti-seize in the threads went in.
Tomorrow the truck is going on jack stands and all 4 tires are coming off and I am dropping them off to get new tires mounted.
While that's happening I'll get to work on the rest.
