Default What Software or Firmware Updates Available LR3

Have 2006 LR3 HSE. As I research, more mods, options, updates found.
What is a complete list?
1. 3 light flash.... what is that
2. clock on screen
3. ?
4. ?
5. ?

I think it was 4x4, cant find thread now, but 4x4 was updating a lot. I found the secrete button on the nav screen for info but can't change anything from that... but interesting.
Assume previous owner turned off front parking sensors. Rear sensors work fine. How to turn on front sensors?

These sound like GAP tool updates? (3 light flash means you lightly touch the turn signal and it just blinks 3 times - no need to cancel)

There's also a transmission update, a bluetooth update . . .

Honestly, I think you can arrange ANY official Land Rover update ever available to be installed through them as a service - you just have to ask for what you want

Yeah, IID Tool from Gap would be the way to go. Pretty sure you can use it to check various software versions then see what GAP has available. Think each update costs $20 or something though.

Last NAV update for your vehicle was 2012, and now not supported... same as my 2008.

That is my understanding of how he did it.

I am ordering one as he has glowing reviews and it couldn’t hurt to have a back up Nav unit in the dash

Same here. I sent a PM to the seller and price seems good.

I want to update the Bluetooth as well. DakotaTravler replied he best to use an LR4 unit (made sure this was not the major replacement he wrote up). DakotaTravler said its a simple change, I am going to check first to ensure there is not a conflict with both updates.

I hear about all these updates in software and adjustment that can be done with the GAP tool. Is it worth spending $500+

Nav and bluetooth are totally different systems. Both on the MOST network. You can actually remove your Nav display and as long as a MOST network jumper is in place, all other systems work as before.

GAP Tool is worth every penny. It does keys, flashes updates, reads all the systems, calibration of the suspension and live data etc etc
