Default Wheel and Tire Upgrade Question...

So its time to upgrade my 08 LR3 a bit. I have been running the Johnson Rods with the stock wheels and tires, but the stock tires are about bald so Im looking at bigger tires with new wheels. I have been cursed with the 19 inch LR wheels.

My girl gets about 5 or so day trips for pretty light off-roading. Im not looking for a monster truck, but something a little bigger than stock. Im thinking about 31 inch tires on some kind of new wheels.

My question is, what brand/type of wheels should I be looking for and where do I find them? Steel or alloy? Im really just looking for some basic black or grey ones. When I call around, most sales guys talk about spacers which seem like a bad idea, but I really dont know anything about them.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a nice rim that would look great on the 3... 18" or 20", direct fit and doesn't break the bank.

I'm a fan of the simple steel wheel

you can also pick up the land rover lug covers for a more finished look.

Thank you both! I appreciate the help! Any idea about spacers or of steel or alloy would be better?

No idea on spacers, I haven't had any rubbing issues

Don't need them with these rims, they are within factory spec for fitment... avoid putting any extra force on the wheel bearings with spacers... these trucks are HEAVY. Best to keep the geometry as designed, imo.

I'm really after the classic look of simple steel wheels.

Can someone just make a 19" steel wheel, please?

what's wrong with 18s
you're likely buying new tires anyway
