I plan to buy a used window regulator for the front left (drivers side) window for my 2008 LR3 and replace it myself.

has anyone ever done this?
i have taken the door panel off and from what i can tell, this may be a bit of a headache due to the small size of the hole to get the old one out, new one in and have any room to work and such. you basically cant get but one arm about halfway into the hole do do anything...

any advice or step by steps or videos out there? you tube is mostly speaking on land rover discovery and range rovers. i have yet to find a good how to video on a 2008 lr3 window regulator replacement.

 

Hardest job is unlatching the glass from the regulator. Remove speaker so you can get your arm in. Let glass part way down and have someone hold it for you or use a couple of wedges to stop glass falling then unlatch glass (two plastic clips that unlatch) and remove the mechanism.
