Broken wire, chewed wire or bad insulation; the process is the same. Once you know all of the wires between the modules are good, next you look at the connectors on the modules then the modules themselves.

which wires? We you having the same issue with intermittently going into “crash mode” with flasher coming on and would start if in that mode?

Sorry for the delay, been "otherwise occupied"

The wire were between the CJB and the TPMS module which prevented any of the other modules downstream to me seen. I would follow the wires and find out which ECU modules are on line and which ones are not. That will narrow down your search.

At some point (like me) you may need to start removing interior panels and visibly inspecting each inch of the affected CAN BIS wiring.

What have you found so far?

besides the soaked passenger side carpet, I haven't found anything. I have the front passenger seat out and completely dried the carpet, inspected all wires behind the passenger kick-panel and all wires going to the CJB. Just bought a subscription to ALLDATA, going to start tracing from there.
