I am looking to add the wood trim to our LR3 and am looking to find out if there are any other good options besides the $800 dealer kit. There are numerous vendors on the web but I am not sure of the quality and finish of their product.

If anyone has links to vendors that sell a good quality wood trim kit for the LR3 I would apprecaite if you could reply to this thread.

I haven't seen these in person but they seem better than the flat stick-on type. They are certainly cheaper than the Factory trim. I believe they are simulated wood on molded plastic.

This seller :bmw_guy_93is on Ebay. He sells the woodtrim kits and has 100% feedback.
You can find him by doing a seller search or search LR3 wood trim.

I would love it, if someone made a wood kit similar to the ones seen on the 2008 LR3 HSE or if i knew there was a way to get one straight from the factory. Has anyone done this or do i have false hopes?

I found this vendor(link below) and they sell the kit in Piano Black, Light Cherry and Burlwood similar to the 08 modela. I should have the prices in a couple of days as these guys are out at some trade show in Vegas.
