Default Wow. That’s a lot of errors…

Over the last little while I’ve noticed that I’ll get HDC off errors. They usually reset after a restart. I’ve also noticed it’s most likely to happen when I hit a hard bump (not every bump) When it started I thought it may be a loose battery lead because it was momentary and in those first instances the HDC would come back on. This evening was an “event” though.

After I hit the hard bump, I got
  • hdc off
  • transmission fault
  • lower to access height
  • speedometer stopped working
  • cel came on
wow.

also I’ve never lost the speedometer before.

the HDC was also cleared only through fault clearing not a start restart.

time to fetch the gap tool. Plenty of errors…but do you think this points to a wheel speed sensor issue?

Hi Philip,
I'd first check the negative battery ground connection, the one that goes through the fender on a stud if you've got an LR3 like mine as described below in my signature. These machines are highly susceptible to electrical problems, please never wash out the engine compartment with a pressure washer...

Clear them, drive, and re test. That looks like a list of built up faults. If the system detected the fault once it'll be stores in the ECU. I would bet (hopefully) a majority of those will clear up.

Yep, id also be checking the ABS sensor on the rear right wheel.
