Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has swapped out their xenon D2S bulbs for LED bulbs with the adaptive lights and what the process involved?

I am frustrated as I keep going through ballasts failing every few months. The previous owner snipped the original ballast connector for the newer style ballasts, but finding a quality aftermarket ballast is challenging as the aftermarket ones all have poor QC standards.

Why not go with OEM ballasts and keep the HIDs?

LEDs are pretty slick, but I prefer Xenons.

 

The original connector was spliced with the new type of connector. It is annoying to have buy a denso-koito D2S connector, and I bought two from two different vendors who had the connectors incorrect

I was curious if anyone has done a swap from HID to LED.
