Got the 3.0 TDV6, just done oil pump, water pump and timing.... went to put on the harmonic balancer and I can't remember which way round its supposed to go! there's no keyway just some 2 dots on the pulley face that I can kind of line up with the tiny key on the timing belt gear. Had a look at the Jag workshop manual but it just says torque the 6 bolts to 25nm. Surely the damper has to be keyed to the crank? Knowing the crankshaft failure issues on these makes me nervous just putting it back any old way.
