Default 2010 LR4 battery - Interstate AGM thoughts

It's time to replace the OEM battery in my 2010 LR4. To preface my situation a little, I worked out a barter with a business owner that entitles me to any battery of my choosing for free, as long as it's Interstate. From my research, looks like Interstate is a great choice anyhow. I've learned that some newer RR models come with AGM batteries, but my local dealer tells me there's actually something out there that says it's not recommended to put an AGM battery in my vehicle and he's recommending to stay with a wet Interstate H7. Does anybody here have experience with the Interstate AGM battery in a 2010 or similar LR4? Thoughts? It's a free $300 battery and being able to leave the accessory lights on, play the radio at a campsite, run some accessories sounds great. I can tell you that I've been running a Die Hard Advanced Gold AGM battery in my LR3 for about 4 months now and it's been great. On a side note, I actually replaced the interstate battery that had been in the car for 3 years because I was getting some random errors messages and whatnot that I thought might be attributed to the battery. Turns out the battery was perfectly fine though, so now I've still got the interstate hooked up on my workbench, taking a trickle charge. :P BUT, the AGM was on sale for about $135, so I couldn't pass it up. Just wish I could fit the Interstate battery in front of the ABS module to use as a second battery, but alas... it's much too big.

FWIW, Interstate batteries are made by JCI which is the battery group that bought Optima, moved the manufacturing to Mexico, made design "improvements" and pretty much trashed the quality reputation of those batteries. I'd be leery of an AGM made by JCI.
On the other hand, it's "free" so....
