Default 2012 lr4 fuel leaking from top of tank - video

I just dropped the gas tank on my friend's 2012 LR4 because we could see some fuel leaking from the top of the tank. It turns out that the plastic 'petrol flange' or fuel filter / tank dust cap was cracked and gasoline was spraying out of the top. I decided to make a video about halfway through the job to share with anyone who might find it helpful. If you smell gas after driving, or see it leaking from the top of the tank, this might be your issue.
Thanks for watching!

Default Great video!

Can you check out my post about gas leaking out of the top of my 2014 Evoque gas tank? I don’t think it’s cracked like yours was; it seems to be leaking out of one of those nipples at on the fuel pump, Any ideas?

Fuel tank flange is a known recall item on the LR4s.
