Default 2013 lr4 airbag light on. Replaced seat cushion and seat belt.

Hello I have a 2013 lr4 and the airbag light came on immediately when I the female side seat and seat cushion. I replaced the seat cushion because it had a rip in it. It was off of a 2012 lr4. Everything looked the same but maybe bathe seat cushion is designed differently?? Or maybe I bumped a wiring harness and something came loose. Anyone have any experience with this?

Did you disconnect the battery when you unplugged/plugged in the new seat belt pretensioner? Try disconnecting the battery, wait ten minutes and reconnect. That my solve your issue. I replaced the seat belt pretensioner on our 2010 RRS this weekend. It was showing an airbag light on the dash. I disconnected the battery, replaced the pretensioner and then reconnected the battery. Light was off, seatbelt works like new. (no need to totally remove the seat from the truck. Just raise the seat all the way(provides more room to access the two pretensioner wires), unbolt two bolts in the front and the three in the back, then disconnect the battery, remove and replace the pretensioner, reinstall the seat and then reconnect the battery).
