Default AC compressor wont engage

Can someone give me a crash course in LR4 A/C compressor electrical troubleshooting?

I have a 2012 HSE, and after a full throttle pull on a freeway on ramp my air conditioning went out. All the fans etc work fine, and there is sufficient R134 in the system. If I use my scan tool, it shows that the AC compressor turns on/off with the AC button on the dash board.

A manual inspection shows that the drive belt is spinning on the pulley, but the compressor itself isnt moving. This leads me to believe there is something wrong with the AC clutch engagement, but Im finding conflicting and lacking information on this topic.

Some topics say that the LR3 doesnt have an AC clutch, but I cant find this to be confirmed for the LR4 (mine sure looks like it has one). I found some LR4 wiring diagrams (on a suspect web site, to be fair) which show fuse 11 going to an AC relay, going to the AC clutch. My AC fuse is good, and has 12v with the system on, but I cannot for the life of me find where the AC relay would be located!

Its 95 degrees here today so any help is much appreciated

Old thread but same issue. Did you ever locate the AC Compressor relay? Thank you.

The LR4 has a variable output AC compressor that is always engaged. In my case the issue ended up being that the complressor siezed so the shaft had become permanenetly disconnected from the pulley (the silver "wings" on the front detached). I had to replace the whole compressor.
