Hello all,

I am rebuilding my 3.0L and cannot find info on how to align the rear dynamic balancer in the rear of the crankshaft. I know it needs to be opposite of the front fuel pump balancer but wanted to verify the alignment. There is a mark on the crankshaft that I aligned with a mark on the chain and a mark on the counterweight that I also aligned with the other makr on the chain. Just wanted to see of this looks accurate before I button it up. Any info is appreciated!

I will find out tomorrow as I’m going to a machine shop and let you know.

 

Anyone has info about this? The workshop manual I have does not say. I see a mark on the crankshaft and two marks on the chain. No marks on the gears.
