Default Attn. Load Range E tire owners

What tire pressure are you running?

I got Load Range E because I haul a trailer during hunting season. I ran 40 PSI all the way around on the OEM Michelin tires. These tires max out at 80 PSI, but I would never air them up that high unless I'm hauling a full trailer.

Any suggestions from those people running Load Range E tires for normal everyday driving?

Thanks!

Just run them at the same 40psi you were before.
They can take 80psi but you dont have to run them at that.
To much air and they will ride rough, to soft and you will get lower mpg and incresed tire wear.

in other words run them at the correct tire pressure as designed. Lower the pressure for such areas as loose sand or lots of snow. Raise it for hauling.

Most people I know with 10 ply rated tires run between 35 and 40 all the way around. Under that and you loose gas mileage, over that gain a really rough ride.
